After teaching for over 30 years, I've learned a lot about what singers want and need to develop confidence in their voices. It's so much more than learning to sing scales well. It's all about how well you sing the scales. There is so much more to developing the voice than just matching the notes on a piano. Singing songs is all about how well you start and how all the words are connected into a musical symphony of tone, dynamics and expression. Nothing gives a singer more confidence than starting perfectly with every phrase.
